=Atpadi=&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
(Athpadi). — Village in the State of Aundh, Bombay, situated in &lt;br /&gt;
1 7° 25' N. and 74 59' E. Population (1901), 5,027. It is famous for &lt;br /&gt;
its cattle of the Khilar breed, reared by Dhangars. In consequence &lt;br /&gt;
of its situation on a loop-road connecting the Karad-Pandharpur and &lt;br /&gt;
Karad-Nagar roads, the town is much visited by pilgrims to Pandharpur. &lt;br /&gt;
About 12 miles distant is the well-known temple of Nath at Kharsumdi, &lt;br /&gt;
largely frequented by pilgrims, at which a cattle fair is held twice a &lt;br /&gt;
year. Country blankets and coarse cloth are manufactured at Atpadi &lt;br /&gt;
and exported to the Konkan. The village contains a post office, a &lt;br /&gt;
dispensary, and a school teaching elementary English.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
