		+	MADURAI: The Madurai bench of the Madras high court on Friday allowed a petition filed by Tamil actor Dhanush seeking to quash the proceedings in a judicial magistrate court in Melur on a case filed by a couple who claim to be his parents.

		+	The couple - R Kathiresan (65) of Madurai and his wife Meenakshi (53) - moved the magistrate court seeking maintenance from the actor claiming that the actor was their son.
		+	The actor stated that he was not their son and that somebody was behind the couple to extract money from him.
		+	The couple mentioned that their son (Dhanush) had a mole on the collar and a scar on the forearm, which the actor denied.

		+	The court ordered for verification of Dhanush's identification marks. The medical examination report denied the couple's claim about the identification marks.
		+	However, the couple's counsel S Titus alleged that the identification marks mentioned by the couple had been removed by using a laser technic and the same could be proved in the trial by cross examining doctors concerned.
