''<br /> <br /> <br /> =Kalabgur=<br /> <br /> Taluka in Medak District, Hyderabad State, with an <br /> area of 432 square miles. The population in 1901, including jagirs, <br /> was 78,052, compared with 96,100 in 1891, the decrease being due <br /> to emigration and transfer of villages. The taluk contains one town, <br /> Sadaseopet (population, 6,672); and Sangareddipet (4,809) is the <br /> head-quarters of the District and taluk. There are also 144 other <br /> villages, of which 60 are jagir. The land revenue in 1901 was 2-4 <br /> lakhs. Kalabgur is well supplied with tanks, and rice and sugar-cane <br /> are largely cultivated. The Nizam's State Railway passes through its <br /> southern portion, and the river Manjra flows through the north.</div>
