=Lambagraon=&lt;br /&gt;
Estate in Kangra District, Punjab, with an area &lt;br /&gt;
of 125 square miles. The present holder, Raja Jai Chand, is a descen- &lt;br /&gt;
dant of the ancient Katoch kings of Kangra. On the annexation &lt;br /&gt;
of that District, Ludar Chand, a nephew of the famous Raja Sansar &lt;br /&gt;
Chand, was confirmed in his jdgtr; and in 1851, on the death of &lt;br /&gt;
Sansar Chand's grandson Parmodh Singh, Partab Chand, the eldest &lt;br /&gt;
son of Ludar Chand, was acknowledged as head of the Katoch family &lt;br /&gt;
and received the title of Raja. The jagir has descended by primo- &lt;br /&gt;
geniture to the present Raja, who is an honorary magistrate and &lt;br /&gt;
Munsif in his Jagir, and a major in the 37th Dogras. In 1904 &lt;br /&gt;
he was nominated a member of the Punjab Legislative Council. &lt;br /&gt;
His Jdglr consists of 20 villages and brings in about Rs. 40,000 &lt;br /&gt;
