		+	Gujarat emerged outright winners at the 4th Pickleball Nationals at Bennett University in Greater Noida on Sunday, leaving Maharashtra and Delhi far behind in the medals tally. Gujarat won 23 medals – 11 gold, seven silver and five bronze – to finish their campaign on a high. Maharashtra finished second with 14 medals including six gold, followed by Delhi with 16 medals including four gold.

		+	The men’s Open team event saw Gujarat settle for a silver after they lost the finals to Rajasthan. In the U-18 singles event, Gujarat’s Dev Shah beat Purvansh Patel 11-7,11-8 in the final. Chattisgarh’s Vishal Nishad beat Gujarat's Vivan Patel 11-10, 11-4 in the U-16 boys singles final. Gujarat’s picklers thereafter bagged all the boys’ doubles titles --U14, U16 and U18 --comfortably.

The final day saw another men’s doubles duo of Krish and Kishan Patel win the 35+ title to conclude Gujarat's campaign on a high.

		+	For Delhi, Rahul Belwal beat Santosh Bhagat in a three-game thriller to win the 35+ men’s singles title. He also accompanied Monica Menon to stun Sohel Makani and Priyanka Mehta in another thrilling encounter to win the 35+ mixed doubles title.
