Starting her career as a model, she made her feature film debut in Y.V.S. Chowdhary's2006 Telugu film Devadasu. And ever since she has never looked back. She made debut in Bollywood with Ranbir Kapoor's starrer Barfi!.

Ileana D'Cruz (born 1 November ) is a film actress, who predominantly appears in Telugu cinema. Starting her career as a model, she made her feature film debut in Y.V.S. Chowdhary's2006 Telugu film Devadasu. She went on to appear in commercially successful ventures Pokiri (2006), Jalsa (2008) and Kick (2009), establishing herself as one of Telugu cinema's leading actresses.[3] D'Cruz made her Kollywood debut earlier in2006 with Kedi along with Tamannaah and Ravi Krishna, and then she went to Tamil and made a come back with Nanban (2012)
