One of the principal peaks in the Singalila spur of the Himalayas, in the head-quarters subdivision of Darjeeling Dis- trict, Bengal, situated in 27 6' N. and 88 o'E. The height above sea-level is 11,930 feet. It commands an unequalled view not only of the Sikkim snows, but also of the Nepal mountains, including Everest, The Nepal frontier road runs over the hill, and there is a staging bungalow which is available to travellers on application to the Deputy-Commissioner of Darjaling.
