Crown ' sub-taluk of the Atrif-i-balda District, Hyderabad State, lying to the south-west of Nizamabad District, with an area of 87 square miles. Its population in 1901 was 15,789, compared with 10,883 in 1891. The sub-taluk contains 22 villages, and Jukal (3,350) is the head-quarters. The land revenue in 190 1 was Rs. 66,000. The soil is mostly regar or black cotton soil.
