Tenzin Yangzom (born 1991) was crowned Miss Tibet 2014.
She was awarded Rs1,00,000 on the 8th June at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA), Dharamsala.
Tenzin 's family is settled in Gangtok, in the Indian state of Sikkim. She did her graduation from Bangalore. Indeed, she has two bachelors' degrees to her credit.
As in 2003, 2005 and 2013 there was--for the fourth time--only one contestant vying for the crown.
Tenzin Yangzom entered the contest to seek the world's support to improve the human rights situation in Tibet.
