Urban population, Delhi and highest % of urban population, state-wise; The Times of India, Aug 01 2017

Although the proportion of urban population in Delhi is smaller than places like Hong Kong, Macao, Monaco and Singapore, the Indian capital is more urbanised than western countries. India's least urbanised state, Himachal Pradesh, in contrast, has a much lower proportion of its people living in urban areas when compared with even African countries with agriculture as the mainstay of their economies.
