Kalait
Village in the Narwana tahsil, Karmgarh misamat, Patiala State, Punjab, situated in 21 degree 49' N. and 76 degree 19' E., 13 miles south- west of Kaithal on the Narwana-Kaithal branch of the Southern Punjab Railway. Population (1901), 3,490. The place is famous for four ancient temples ascribed to Raja Salbahan, and for a tank, called Kapal Manx's tiratk, which is held sacred by Hindus. The temples, which are adorned with sculptures, are supposed to date from the eleventh century.
