[edit] ICY PARADISE: Pangi Valley
India Today December 19, 2008
Pangi Valley is an unexplored paradise with stark mountains and deep gorges of the Chandrabhaga river. The lower ranges are lush rocky pastures as well as dense pine and cedar forests. For adventure seekers, the Pangi landscape offers high altitude treks to neighbouring Kashmir and Ladakh. The high-altitude passes here remain glaciated for most of the year.
