Head-quarters of the taluka of the same name in Ahmad- nagar District, Bombay, situated in i837'N. and 744 2/ E., 32 miles south of Ahmadnagar city. Population (1901), 5,415. It has four temples, and two mansions belonging to Maharaja Sindhia of Gwalior.
