Agra's Shahan is boys Asian karting champ

Speeding at over 100 kmph at Malaysia's Shah Alam International Kart Circuit, 11-year-old Shahan Ali Mohsin has won a unique laurel, emerging first in the Rotax Asia Max Challenge Kart ng Championship. Shahan, a big fan of F1 driver Fernando Alonso, is a Class VI student at Delhi Public School, Agra. He won the race by 0.648 seconds, beating Singaporean driver Dylan Roger on Sunday afternoon. Shahan completed the 15 ap race, covering 17.55 km in 15:17:233 minutes. His teammate Putera Adam Halim took fourth position. Halim is also the 2014 Asian champion n the Micromax category (812 years).

Mohsin finished the pre-finals in second place, having started in 13th place. He then did one better in the finals, to climb to the very top of the podium.

2025: Atiqa overcomes injury, bad luck for top-10 finish

Indian racing prodigy Atiqa Mir put behind a stroke of bad luck to gain as many as 18 places for an impressive top-10 finish in round one of the IAME UAE Karting Championship. She was forced out of the race due to a crash while attempting an overtake for third place, leaving her with a broken kart and injury to her hand and elbow
