fbb Femina Miss India World 2016 winner, Priyadarshini Chatterjee, hailing from Guwahati, Assam was selected to represent India at Miss World 2016. The gorgeous beauty queen stunned everyone with her performance at the fbb Femina Miss India 2016 pageant.

Priyadarshini is a fighter; she fought with life at a young age of 9. She was diagnosed with a tumour in her intestine. When asked about the same, she said, "They diagnosed that I had a tumour in my intestine. Also, I was a premature baby and then this...so honestly my survival chances were really less. Had the operation been delayed, I wouldn't have survived."
Speaking about her childhood, the 19-year-old beauty queen told Femina, "I was born and brought up in Guwahati. As a child, I was into basketball, volleyball and badminton in school. My parents, my elder sister and our dog, make up my universe."
"My mom was the one who convinced me to try out for Miss India auditions in Delhi just two days before the event. Winning fbb Femina Miss India 2016 title is a dream come true for me."
A new chapter was added to Priyadarshini's life after winning the title. She said, "I cannot begin to tell you how drastically things have changed since I entered the contest. More than the win, the reaction of my family and friends was overwhelming, and I am still getting used to it."
Our fbb Femina Miss India World 2016, Priyadarshini is working hard to showcase her talent on the big stage of the Miss World 2016 pageant. The beauty queen said, "I have to follow a strict routine. As for the pressure, I have realised that it is as big or small as I make it out to be."
