Just lately, I received a contact from one of the twenty serves that I'm affiliated with and before I even opened it I knew what it would say. Virtually the same thing that the final five messages from other serves have said. "Dear Affiliate, we're very happy to announce that we have included more disk space to our standard hosting plans which now provide over 20,000 Mb (mega-bytes) of disk/storage space to your customers." And the Hosting companies battle on!

Now do not misunderstand me, from a marketing and promotion perspective, giving my consumer 20,000 Mb of disk space instead of 5 or 10 thousand is a thing that only "sweetens the pot." Why not have additional room? Sometimes more is better. But unless you're the sole person on an area with an internet connection and a hosting bill thats going to be used by a tiny third world state, or unless you're Ebay (TM), I actually do not see where in fact the average company, even with a web site that has 100 or more pages with many graphics, is even going to come close to applying 20,000 Mb of disk/storage area monthly.

My slightly small web site wbwebhosts dot net has a dozen pages that obtain a total of around 200 site gets a day. Last time I checked I was calculating 2 Mb of disk/storage consumption per month. Obviously, I'm sure if everybody who was managed with a specific company was somehow able to use 20,000 Mb of disk monthly, the hosting company would come to an end of server space.

But thats OK nevertheless! Promotion all that storage space is really a "Hook" to attract people in. Nothing wrong with this. When I said above it is simpler to have an excessive amount of space for storage then not enough. But look for other items that the company offers they can set them aside from other website hosting services. Could be the set-up and Domain free? Where are there hosts based? C-panel control (quite simple control panel for starters)? Value per month? Exchange (monthly traffic granted)?

Well the Host conflicts will continue! Next year perhaps by this time they will be giving 30,000 Mb to attract new customers. To most unsuspecting people this will seem like a whole lot and will be happy and feel lucky they have discovered such a hosting company. By giving more disk/storage space, the serves will lure more customers and affiliates, affiliates subsequently will obtain more customers and the customers will enjoy a the excess of space. Oh well, provided that everybody is happy..... ftp server rental
