Thakurgaon Village
Head-quarters of the subdivision of the same name in Dinajpur District, Eastern Bengal and Assam, situated in 26° 5' N. and 88° 26" E., on the Tangan river. Population (1901), 1,658. It contains the usual public offices ; the sub-jail has accommo- dation for 18 prisoners.
