Vikas Krishan Yadav (75 Kg)

AGE: 26 years; PLACE OF BIRTH: Singhwa Khas Village, Hissar; STANCE: Southpaw; CLUB: Bhiwani Boxing Club The Arjuna Awardwinning pugilist made his mark by winning a gold in the 2010 Asian Games and then went on to win back-to-back gold in the Asian Youth Boxing Championships and the Youth World Amateur Boxing Championships the same year. At the 2012 Olympics, he lost out to Errol Spence by two points. The result was overturned five hours after Vikas was declared the winner in the opening bout. A distraught Vikas walked away from the sport for a year and half but returned with a bang to the ring with a 2014 Asian Games bronze medal in Incheon.
