Chhenilama
A thar or sept of the Das-Gurung sub-tribe of Gurungs. The founder of this tha1', who became very powerful, dereated the chier of Ghaleh, married his daughter, and built a rort at Peun, on the Kaliganga. He bored a hole in a sheep's hom and with its aid employed art magio to slay his enemies; henc.e his name was Loho Chhem, the borer with iron pin; and the thaT is called chhelli to this day.
