VIR, EKTA WIN AT INT’L EMMYS

VIR DAS was awarded the International Emmy for Comedy for Vir Das: Landing, while EKTA KAPOOR received the Directorate Award at the 51st International Emmy Awards.

Vir, overwhelmed with joy, expressed, “This moment feels truly surreal – a remarkable honour that seems like a dream come true.” Ekta Kapoor said, “This is for India and all the Indians. We are few, but we are enough.”

Meanwhile, SHEFALI SHAH, nominated for Best Actress for her performance in Delhi Crime, and JIM SARBH, nominated for Best Actor for his role in Rocket Boys, did not secure the award.
