India leads the world in domesticated goat population with 154 million.

China follows with 129 million.

Nigeria has 89 million.

Pakistan has 85 million.

Ethiopia has 54 million.

Chad has 49 million.

Kenya has 35 million.

Mali has 32 million.

Sudan has 31 million.

Tanzania has 28 million.

Note: Other countries in the top 10 are mostly from Africa.
