IIam Bazar
Village in the head-quarters subdivision of Birbhum District, Bengal, situated in 23'^ 38' N. and 87° 32' E., on the banks of the Ajay river. Population (1901), 1,815. It is the seat of a con- siderable trade, and is celebrated for its manufacture of lac ornaments and toys, tasar silk, and brass-ware.
