Jaipur Village

Village in the Dibrugarh subdivision of Lakhimpur District, Eastern Bengal and Assam, situated in 27° 16' N. and 95° 23' E., on the left bank of the Buri Dihing river. There are deposits of coal and oil-bearing strata in the neighbourhood, and the place is a centre of local trade.
