Jetpur Town

Fortified town in the State of the same name, Kathiawar, Bombay, situated in 21 degree 45' N. and 70 degree 48' E., on the western bank of the Bhftdar river, 40 miles north-east of Porbandar. Population (1901), 15,919. Jetpur is a flourishing town on the Bhavnagar-Gondal-Junagarh-Porbandar Railway, well equipped with public buildings. A fine bridge has been thrown across the Bhadar river about a mile north of the town.
