Jhanjharpur
Village in the Madhubani subdivision of Dar- bhanga District, Bengal, situated in 26 degree 16' N. and 86° 17' E., on the Bengal North-Western Railway. Population (1901), 5,639. Its brass utensils, particularly the panbatta or box for holding betel-leaf and the gangajati or water-pot, have a local reputation.
