Kandi
Village in the Kalabgur taluk of Medak District, Hyder- abad State, situated in 17 degree 35' N. and 78 degree 6' E., 5 miles south-east of Sangareddipet. Population (1901), 1,573. Upon the open plain close by stand two stones with Telugu or old Kanarese inscriptions, sur- mounted by the sun and moon.
