Kanth
Town in the Amroha tahsil of Moradabad District, United Provinces, situated in 29 degree 3' N. and 78 degree 37' E., 17 miles north-west of Moradabad city. Population (1901), 7,092. The town contains a branch of the American Methodist Mission. It is administered under Act XX of 1856, with an income of about Rs. 1,600. There is a small local industry in cotton cloth and sugar. The middle school has 146 pupils.
