Karasgaon

Town in the Ellichpur taluk of Amraoti District, Berar, situated in 21 degree 20' N. and 77° 39' E. Population (1901), 7,456. A fort of fine sandstone, now in ruins, was built here by Vithal Bhag Deo, a talukdar in the Ellichpur jagir in 1806.
