Lake Fife
(Kharakvasla). — Reservoir in the Haveli Taluka of Poona District, Bombay, situated in 18° 25 N. and 73° 47' E., 12 miles south- west of Poona city, constructed in 1868 to feed the Mutha Canals. The work cost 31 lakhs, and has a surface area at full supply level of 3,753 acres.
