Mudhol Taluk
Taluk in Nander District, Hyderabad State, with an area of 335 square miles. In 1901 the population, including jagirs, was 57,024, compared with 64,124 in 1891, the decrease being due to the famine of 1900. Till recently it had 1x5 villages, of which 25 are jdglr, and one town, Muhhol (population, 6,040), the head-quarters. The land revenue in 1901 was 1-7 lakhs. Up to 1905 the tdluk formed part of Indur (Nizamabad) District ; and on its transfer to Nander District it was enlarged by the addition of the Bhaisa taluk and part of Nander. The soil is mostly black cotton.
