Mundra

Port in the State of Cutch, -Bombay, situated in 22° 49' N. and 69° 52' E., on the coast of the Gulf of Cutch, 29 miles south of Bhuj. Population (1901), 10,600. There is a made road from the port to the town, which is 3^ miles distant. The fort, which is situated 2 1 miles north of the port, contains a white mosque distinguishable a good way off. The municipal income in 1903-4 was Rs. 4,000, The town contains a dispensary.
