Sangod
Head-quarters of the district of the same name in the State of Kotah, Rajputana, situated in 24 55 / N. and 76 17' E., on the right bank of the Ujar, a tributary of the Kali Sind, about 34 miles south-east of Kotah city. Population (1901), 4,369. Sangod possesses a post office, a vernacular school, and a hospital with accom- modation for 6 in-patients.
