Sonai Village
Village in the Nevasa taluka of Ahmadnagar Dis- trict, Bombay, situated in 19° 23 N. and 74° 49' E., about 24 miles north-by-east of Ahmadnagar city. Population (1901), 5,393. Sonai is a busy market, surrounded by a rich plain, and divided by a water- course into ihe peth occupied by merchants and the kasba or agricul- tural quarter. It contains an American Mission church built in 1861.
