Sorath
Prant or division of Kathiawar, Bombay, situated in the south-west corner of the peninsula, and including, among others, the chiefships of Junagarh, Porbandar, and Jafarabad. The area is 5,217 square miles, and the population in 1901 was 677,987. The revenue in 1903-4 amounted to Rs. 53,99,349.
