The Rutlam of the early European traders
Port in the Vilavankod taluk of Travancore State, Madras, situated in 8° 14' N. and 77° 10' E., at the mouth of the Kuliturai river. Population (1901), 1,105. It was one of the first possessions of the Dutch in Travancore.
