Taliparamba
Town in the Chirakkal taluk of Malabar District, Madras, situated in 12° 3' N. and 75° 22' E. Population (1901), 7,849. It contains a sub-magistrate's and District Munsifs court, and a brass- roofed temple which is one of the best in the District.
