Tindharia

Village in the Kurseong subdivision of Darjeeling Dis- trict, Bengal, situated in 26° 51' N. and 88° 20' E., on the Darjeeling- Himalayan Railway, 2,748 feet above sea-level. The population con- sists almost entirely of the employes of the railway and their families. Tindharia contains the railway workshops, employing 250 hands, and a railway hospital and club.
