Village and shrine in the Neyyattinkara taluk of Travancore State, Madras, situated in 8° 21' N. and 77° 5' E., 3 miles south of Trivandrum . Population ( 1 90 1 ) , 4, 1 64 . Its temple, dedicated to Vishnu, is of great sanctity and antiquity. Ananta Padmanabha, the tutelary deity of the Travancore royal house, is said to be resting with his head on this shrine, his body at Trivandrum, and his feet at Trippapur.
